Hebrews 10:22-25 (The Message)

So let's do it—full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.

Connect Groups.

Together" in the Bible: Hebrews 10:25 The Christian church is meant to be a community of believers. We are most effective when we're surrounded by fellow believers to correct and encourage us. The apostle Paul here instructs Christians not to neglect the act of meeting up periodically for worship and fellowship. Now we come together as Connect Groups.

What Connect Group(CG) is all about?
Connect groups are groups of friends based on age or location that meet on a regular basis. Together connect groups provide a great foundation to learn more about God and each other on a personal level.

Psalm 1:2-3 (New Living Translation)

Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psalm 92:13 (New King James Version)
But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. Psalm 1:1-3 (New Living Translation)

Noted from friend to share for new year

Noted from friend to share for new year

Great Read:
Bright Future starts with ur Habbits

As we count down to the New Year we're sharing 5 days of leadership habits to make 2016 your best year yet.Day 4: Read

Our founder John C. Maxwell believes that the secret of your success is determined by your daily agenda. If you make a few key decisions and then manage them well in your daily agenda, you will succeed. You will never change your life until you change something you do daily.

You see, success doesn't just suddenly occur one day in someone's life. For that matter, neither does failure. Each is a process. Every day of your life is merely preparation for the next. What you become is the result of what you do today.

In other words ...You are preparing for something.

The question is, What are you preparing for? Are you grooming yourself for success or failure? As John’s father used to tell him when he was growing up, "You can pay now, and play later, or you can play now and pay later. But either way, you are going to pay."

The idea was that you can play and take it easy and do what you want today, but if you do, your life will be harder later. However, if you work hard now, on the front end, then you will reap rewards in the future.

Think about it: What are you preparing for today? Success or failure? Does your daily agenda indicate that you make a habit of paying before you play?

Answering these questions is a good predictor of what you will become tomorrow and in the future.

One of the best ways to prepare is something John does every day, reading. Reading is the second habit you need to harness if you want to succeed in 2016.

Reading on a daily basis keeps your mind sharp and focused, provides perspective on your life and situation outside of your own thoughts and it can be an excellent source of reflection and solitude.

Here are three factors to look for when you’re choosing books to read for your personal growth.

It teaches you something new.It comes from someone who’s ahead of you in leadership. It challenges you.

These resources by John are daily reminders of the leadership you want to live out.

Part 2:
Dedication is the ability to see a task through to completion.  Many people start; few people finish.  Many people have a dream; few people achieve their dreams.

What is the difference?  Dedication, perseverance, commitment and tenacity are the traits you will find in those who finish and achieve their dreams.

"Resources will only come to you as you keep moving. As you begin changing your thinking, start immediately to change your behavior. Begin to act like the person you would like to become. Take action on your behavior. Too many people want to feel, then take action. This never works.

“What’s missing are people who will make the choices necessary to maximize their talent." ~ John C. Maxwell

Those you spend most time with will either lift you up or pull you down. Aim to spend your time with those who will help you to become talent-plus..

The secret of your success is in your daily routine. Are you being methodical about your personal growth? What are you doing today that will make you better than you were yesterday and better tomorrow than you were today? Those who have a plan understand that success doesn't just happen overnight.   The fulfillment of your dreams can begin today by doing the right thing.
